Dear Shortypantz,

I am a 5"1' woman with a large bust and hips. I'm in desparate need for some jeans that will fit me in the hips, but not gap at the waist. Also, jeans I don't need to hem would be nice! Help!

The 'waist gap' problem is a popular one with most women! Look for jean manufactuerers that specifically advertise a no-gap waist design. Check out these jeans - they're made especially for women who are smaller in the waist, and fuller in the hips:

If you're looking for jeans that suit a petite figure, look for companies that provide jeans by the inseam size (28, 30, 32 etc.), not the pant size (4, 6, 8 etc.) for a better fit length-wise.
