Top 5 Spring Fashion Trends
1. Stripes Are Nice: Stripes are in with a vengeance - from skirts, to dresses to accessories -- they're everywhere! Petites look best in skinnier stripe patterns (large ones overwhelm) as well as stripes that run vertically or diagnolly across the garment.
2. Grey is the New Black: Say goodbye to brown and black, and try slipping into something in spring's new neutral: grey. Grey is great for a one-colour dress, or worn on bottom pieces like pencil skirts and pants.

3. Femme is In: Spring runways still show feminine styles rule. Think full skirts, fitted waists, fluttery sleeves, and prints. Hour-glass shaped petites look great in styles with nipped waists. Square-shaped petites: add curves to your frame with a full skirt.
4. Juicy Colors: This season, it's all about juicy, fruity colours like orange, bright green, brilliant blue, and fuschia. Worried you'll look like 1985? Garnish your neutral outfit with some bright accessories!
5. Shimmery Metallics: Think metallics are only for the holidays? Think again! Silvers, bronzes and golds have still been showing up on the Spring 2008 runways. Silver is the hottest metallic for spring. Try silver accessories for a little bit of glam. Skinny belts don't overpower a petite frame, and are a change from last season's wider styles.
